Please Welcome New Employee Jarod Keene!


Jarod Keene works for BIT as a Software Development Intern. Originally from Rapid City, Jarod will be a sophomore at Dakota State University majoring in Cyber Operations. Jarod explained “I plan to get my Master’s Degree in Applied Computer Science and possibly my Doctorate in Computer Security as I have always loved education.”

Before interning at BIT, Jarod worked part-time as a cashier at Scheels Sporting Goods in Rapid City. He is most looking forward to the opportunity to learn new things and meet new people as he begins to make decisions about what he hopes to do in the future.

In his free time, Jarod enjoys playing video games and sports. Jarod explained,

“I played tennis all through high school and I still enjoy playing it today. In terms of video games, I am a very competitive League of Legends player and I enjoy playing late on weekends with my friends from both high school and college. Other than computer science and security, I also love to study economic and national market trends and I hope to begin successfully investing my money when I graduate from school.”
