So what exactly is a responsive website?
A responsive website will adjust to your screen size as you move from device to device. In other words, if you are on a desktop it will fit to your screen, if you are on a tablet it will fit on your tablet screen without you having to scroll out or in, and if you are on a smartphone it will fit on your screen and re-organize itself to make it easier to read and navigate through.
This trend is not going away.
Every day, more and more people are using their smartphones and tablets as their primary way of browsing the web and doing business. It is projected that mobile Internet usage will overtake desktop usage by 2014. This means more people will be accessing your website using a tablet or smartphone than they will by using a laptop or desktop. It has been proven that if your website is not responsive, the user tends to stray away from it because of the annoying need to constantly zoom in and zoom out.
BIT can create responsive websites and has already implemented this design feature on several agencies websites. If you want to keep the current look of your website, BIT can work with your current design and pages to make them functional on tablets and smartphones.
